Getting Started

How do I request a quote from Kordelle?
Simply visit our Quote page, fill in your project details, upload your plans (if available), and submit. We'll provide an initial estimate and follow up with a detailed quote within 24 hours. You can also call us or send a WhatsApp message.
Do I need architectural drawings to get a quote?
No! While having plans significantly improves estimate accuracy, we can work from rough sketches, dimensions, or even a detailed description of what you want. Our in-house team can also help with design from scratch.
How much does it cost to get a quote?
Getting a quote from Kordelle is completely free and comes with no obligation. Our initial consultation is also free to use.
How long does the quoting process take?
The online estimate is immediate. Our team provides a detailed formal quotation within 24 hours for standard projects and up to 48 hours for complex or large-scale projects.

Costs & Payment

What payment terms do you offer?
We typically work on: 30% deposit on contract signing, progress payments at agreed project milestones (e.g., 25% at foundation, 25% at structural completion, 15% at finishing), and 5% retention released 30 days after practical completion.
Do your quotes include VAT?
All quoted prices exclude VAT (currently 15% in Zimbabwe). VAT will be added to your final invoice as applicable.
Can I pay in RTGS or USD?
We accept both USD and ZWL/RTGS. USD pricing is fixed; ZWL pricing is adjusted periodically for exchange rate movements as per the prevailing Reserve Bank rate.
Are there hidden costs I should know about?
No hidden costs. Our formal quotation is fully itemised. If site conditions require additional work (e.g., unexpected rock formation during excavation), we notify you immediately and seek approval before proceeding.
Do you offer financing or instalment options?
We partner with select financial institutions that offer construction financing. Speak to our team and we can connect you with suitable financing partners.

Project Management

Will I have a dedicated project manager?
Yes. Every Kordelle project has an assigned project manager who is your primary point of contact from start to handover. They provide weekly progress reports and are reachable throughout the project.
How do you handle delays?
We take delays very seriously. Our contracts include completion dates with penalties for unjustified delays. We communicate proactively if challenges arise and work to mitigate impacts on your timeline.
Can I visit the construction site during the project?
Absolutely! Clients are welcome to visit their site at any time. We ask that you notify your project manager 24 hours in advance so we can arrange appropriate safety equipment and ensure the site is accessible.
What happens if I want to make changes during construction?
Change requests are handled through a formal variation order process. We assess the cost and time impact of the change, get your written approval, and then proceed. No changes are made without your explicit consent.

Quality & Warranty

What quality certifications does Kordelle hold?
We are accredited by the Zimbabwe Building Contractors Association (ZBCA), EMA certified, NSSA registered, and our engineers are registered with the Engineers Council of Zimbabwe.
What warranty do you provide?
We offer a 5-year structural warranty on all new construction, 3-year warranty on commercial projects, and 2-year warranty on renovation work. Environmental assessments come with their own compliance guarantees.
How do you ensure quality on site?
We have a full-time Quality Control team that conducts inspections at every key milestone. We also engage independent engineers for third-party checks on major projects.

Materials & Sustainability

Where do you source your materials?
We prioritise locally produced materials to support Zimbabwe's economy. For specialised items not available locally, we source from trusted suppliers in South Africa and other regions with full certification.
Can you build an eco-friendly / green project?
Yes! We specialise in sustainable practices including solar integration, rainwater harvesting, environmental impact assessments, and the use of sustainable local materials like natural stone.
Do you offer environmental consultancy services?
Yes, we have a dedicated environmental team that handles EIAs, environmental management plans, and compliance monitoring for all types of development projects.
